Weekend Walk-In Clinic for Fall Athletes Now Available
Southern Indiana Orthopedics is offering their annual walk-in Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic. Officially starting Aug. 18, the clinic will be open on Saturdays from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the practice’s Columbus location at 940 North Marr Road, Suite C. Patients are encouraged to call (812) 376-9353 with any questions they may have.
The practice’s Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic is designed specifically for athletes who have suffered a recent sports injury and will be available for the duration of the fall sports season. Walk-ins are welcome, and no appointment is necessary.
The clinic is run by sports medicine specialist Dr. Cary Guse, who has served as the head physician for several area high school teams and provided coverage for a number of national sporting events. Dr. Guse will soon be joined at the clinic by Dr. Eric Tannenbaum, who starts at the practice Sept. 1. Both doctors are fellowship-trained in the latest orthopedic sports medicine care.
“It can be difficult to receive experienced sports medicine care outside of regular business hours, so we are proud to offer our Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic to give athletes easy access to prompt treatment,” says Dr. Guse. “At Southern Indiana Orthopedics, we are dedicated to offering whole-athlete care and helping area student-athletes get back in the game as quickly and safely as possible.”
