Southern Indiana Orthopedics Welcomes Surgical Podiatrist Dr. Robert Middleton
Robert B. Middleton, D.P.M., specialty-trained surgical podiatrist, is joining Southern Indiana Orthopedics on Aug. 5. Dr. Middleton specializes in podiatric medicine, encompassing common and complex foot and ankle needs. Dr. Middleton will be available to see patients at the practice’s Columbus office, located at 4665 N. U.S. Highway 31. With dedicated specialty training in podiatric medicine, Dr. Middleton offers comprehensive care for a full range of foot and ankle injuries and disorders. He utilizes a wide variety of evidence-based treatments and the latest surgical and nonsurgical techniques. His areas of expertise include:
- Ankle arthritis.
- Bunion correction.
- Flatfoot reconstruction.
- Fracture repair of the ankle and foot.
- Heel pain.

Dr. Middleton earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He then completed his residency at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
