Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon Dr. Eric Tannenbaum to Join Southern Indiana Orthopedics
Eric P. Tannenbaum, M.D., fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon, is joining Southern Indiana Orthopedics. Dr. Tannenbaum specializes in injuries and conditions of the shoulder, elbow, knee, hip, ankle and wrist. Beginning Sept. 4, he will be available to see patients at the practice’s Columbus office, located at 940 North Marr Road, Suite C, and at their Greensburg office, located at 930 East Barachel Lane, Suite 500. As a fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon, Dr. Tannenbaum specializes in a wide variety of advanced procedures and minimally invasive techniques to promptly and effectively diagnose and treat sports-related orthopedic injuries and conditions. His expertise includes arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, cartilage repair and biologic treatments as well as hip, knee and shoulder joint replacement.

Dr. Tannenbaum received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Michigan, also in Ann Arbor. Following his residency, Dr. Tannenbaum underwent extensive specialty training by completing a fellowship in sports medicine at Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys, California.
Dr. Tannenbaum is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the Mid-American Orthopaedic Association.
