Matthew E. Lovell, M.D., joins Southern Indiana Orthopedics

COLUMBUS, Ind. (Aug. 21, 2013) – Matthew E. Lovell, M.D., is the newest orthopedic surgeon to join the expert team of doctors at Southern Indiana Orthopedics. Dr. Lovell practices at Southern Indiana Orthopedics’ offices in Columbus and Seymour. As a board-eligible surgeon, Dr. Lovell’s expertise includes all areas of surgical and nonsurgical treatment for orthopedic injuries and conditions of the ankle, elbow, foot, hand, knee, shoulder and wrist as well as sports medicine and total joint care.

Dr. Lovell graduated magna cum laude from Wheaton College prior to receiving his doctorate of medicine from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa, where he completed two research fellowships during his time as a medical student. Dr. Lovell received specialized surgical training as an intern at Iowa Methodist Medical Center and recently completed advanced training as an orthopedic surgery resident at Southern Illinois University.
